Zac Teague is a civil litigation attorney who spends his days doing what he has been training for since law school: digging into the facts, building the record, and making the argument. His practice centers on personal injury and liability matters, where he handles a wide range of cases motor vehicle and commercial trucking collisions, premises liability, and general negligence claims from initial investigation through discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
Zac earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, where he was recognized with CALI Awards for Excellence in Advanced Legal Writing and in Sales and Lease. That early emphasis on writing has stuck with him; he believes most cases are won by the lawyer who explains things most clearly, not most loudly.
Prior to law school, Zac graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Political Science. He put that background to work early, serving on staff for the Governor of Missouri, where he worked with the communication and legal teams. He also completed a with City Utilities of Springfield drafting agreements and easements, researching antitrust issues. He began his Texas legal career at a small local firm, drafting pleadings and assisting attorneys at hearings, depositions, and trials, which gave him an early, unglamorous, and extremely useful education in how litigation actually works day to day.
Outside the office, Zac is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, a role that requires, in his professional opinion, more patience and optimism than any deposition ever has. Zac also plays golf, with results he describes as "trending upward," and spends as much time as he can with friends and family.
