Murray J. Rossini's primary areas of expertise are commercial litigation, products liability defense, commercial construction defense, underground utility damage defense and oil and gas defense. Murray was an instructor in the Southern Methodist University, Paralegal Program in 1991. Murray was a Texas Survey Editor, Southwestern Law Journal (1985-86).
Murray is the author of Comment, The Spectrum Scarcity Doctrine: A Constitutional Anachronism, 39 Sw. J.L 827 (1985); Contractor’s Liability for Damage to Underground Utilities – New Rules and Significant Cases, The Construction Law Journal, Vol. 5, No. 2 (Winter 2008). Murray was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
Murray received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1986, took graduate studies in national security at Georgetown University and earned his Bachelor of Arts (Politics) from the University of Dallas in 1979. Murray was a political appointee to the Department of the Army, Pentagon (1981-83). He is a member of the Federalist Society, and serves as an Elder and Sunday school team teacher at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church.
